Who can apply: To determine eligibility, HRSA uses the National Center for Health Workforce Analysis (NCHWA) projections1 through 2038, which indicate there are 41 states with a projected shortage of primary care physicians. The top quartile of states with projected shortages of primary care physicians include 12 states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. HRSA has identified accredited public, osteopathic and allopathic medical schools in the eligible states using the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) and Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). Entities with provisional or preliminary accreditation may apply if you meet the eligibility criteria and accreditation documentation requirements from LCME or COCA. Excluding schools with active MSE grants, Appendix A lists the 25 public medical schools in six states that appear eligible for this funding opportunity.Note: Grantees currently receiving MSE funding are not eligible to apply for this notice of funding opportunity.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants must be a rural domestic public or nonprofit private health care provider or provider of health care services, such as a critical access hospital, a rural health clinic; or be another rural provider or network of small rural providers identified by the Secretary as a key source of local or regional care; and not previously have received an award under this subsection for the same or similar project. The applicant organization must be located in a rural area.

Who can apply: You can apply if you are an accredited school of public health, or another public or nonprofit private institution accredited to provide graduate or specialized training in public health.

Who can apply: The Secretary shall make grants to States, Indian Tribes and Tribal organizations (as such terms are defined in section 5304 of title 25). * Domestic means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau

Who can apply: Successful applications must target rural healthcare organizations located in the Delta region.

Who can apply: This competition is open to current RWHAP Part D grant recipients and new, eligible applicant organizations proposing to provide RWHAP Part D family-centered care in outpatient or ambulatory care settings to low income women, infants, children, and youth (WICY) with HIV in the entire service area as identified in the FY 2026 NOFO. As identified in section 2671 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, eligible applicants include public and nonprofit private entities (including a health facility operated by or pursuant to a contract with the Indian Health Service) that provide family-centered care involving outpatient or ambulatory care for WICY with HIV.

Academic institutions, non-profit organizations including faith-based organizations, and those eligible for funding under Parts A-D of TItle XXVI of the Public Helath Service (PHS) Act as amended by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009.
