Who can apply: Eligible applicants must be a rural domestic public or nonprofit private health care provider or provider of health care services, such as a critical access hospital, a rural health clinic; or be another rural provider or network of small rural providers identified by the Secretary as a key source of local or regional care; and not previously have received an award under this subsection for the same or similar project. The applicant organization must be located in a rural area.

Who can apply: Prior to publishing this NOFO, HRSA published a Federal Register Notice (FRN) detailing the methodology and data sources used to determine eligible hospitals. You can view the FRN at https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/04/29/2026-08300/rural-hospital-provider-assistance-program.You can apply if you: 1) have no more than 50 acute care inpatient beds, 2) have an established wage index value of less than 0.90 as determined by the Secretary of HHS under section 1886(d)(3)(E) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395ww(d)(3)(E)), and 3) are located in a rural area as defined by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include children's hospitals (centers) as defined by 42 U.S.C. § 256e (Section 340E of the PHS Act, as added by P.L. 106-129) or their affiliated university pediatric partners. You will demonstrate eligibility according to 42 U.S.C. § 256e (Section 340E of the PHS Act, as added by P.L. 106-129). Eligible applicants include children's hospitals (centers) as defined by 42 U.S.C. § 256e (Section 340E of the PHS Act, as added by P.L. 106-129) or their affiliated university pediatric partners. Who can apply: Successful applications must target rural healthcare organizations located in the Delta region.

Who can apply: Eligible participants are domestic dental schools and other accredited domestic dental education programs, such as dental hygiene programs or those sponsored by a school of dentistry, a hospital, or a public or private institution that offers postdoctoral training in the specialties of dentistry, advanced education in general dentistry, or a dental general practice residency. Dental education programs must be accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

The applicant organization must have demonstrated experience serving, or capacity to serve, underserved populations in rural areas. Eligible applicants also include Federal Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Community Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), Hospitals and Rural Emergency Hospitals.For the purposes of the notice,Domestic means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. Who can apply: You can apply if you are an accredited school of dentistry, public or nonprofit hospital, or public or private nonprofit entity which the Secretary of Health and Human Services deems capable of carrying out this grant. You must be accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) before September 1, 2026.
