Who can apply: Only domestic public and nonprofit private institutions of higher learning may apply for training grants (See 42 CFR § 51a.3(b).).

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include domestic public or non-profit private entities. Faith-based and community-based organizations are eligible to apply for these funds. Tribes and tribal organizations are eligible to apply. If your organization is an Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) member and/or if you are working with a consortium that includes OPTN members, you and all other OPTN members involved in the project are expected to be in compliance with the HHS final rule governing the operation of the OPTN (42 CFR part 121). Who can apply: Eligible applicants include: (1) a state or a political subdivision of a state; (2) a consortium of two or more states or political subdivisions of states; (3) a territory; (4) a health facility or program operated by or pursuant to a contract with or grant from the Indian Health Service; or (5) any other entity with appropriate expertise in newborn screening, as determined by the Secretary.

Who can apply: Any domestic public or private entity, including an Indian tribe or tribal organization (as those terms are defined at 25 U.S.C. 450b) is eligible to apply. See 42 CFR § 51a.3(a). Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations are eligible to apply.

An applicant may NOT apply for concurrent funding as the lead award recipient for this program and either the National Genetics Education and Family Support Program (HRSA-20-049) or the National Genetics Education and Family Support Program and a Regional Genetics Network (HRSA-20-046). If an applicant does apply for any two of these funding opportunities for fiscal year 2020, it will be considered non-responsive and both applications will be disqualified. Foreign entities are not eligible for HRSA awards, unless the authorizing legislation specifically authorizes awards to foreign entities or the award is for research. This exception does not extend to research training awards or construction of research facilities

Who can apply: Only domestic public or non-profit institutions of higher learning and public or private non-profit agencies engaged in research or in programs relating to maternal and child health and/or services for children with special health care needs are eligible to apply (See 42 CFR § 51a.3(b)). Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations are also eligible to apply, if they otherwise meet these eligibility criteria. You are required to submit proof of non-profit status as Attachment 5.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include domestic public, private and nonprofit organizations including domestic faith-based and community organizations, state governments and their agencies such as universities, colleges, research institutions, hospitals, local governments or their bona fide agents. Federally recognized tribal governments, tribes, and tribal organizations are also eligible.
