Who can apply: Only an academically affiliated physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) may apply. To be eligible, your organization must be in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau.

Who can apply: You can apply if your organization is in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau and is an entity eligible for funding under RWHAP Parts A through F of title XXVI of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, including: • Public or private, non-profit • State or local government • Academic institution • Local health department • Non-profit hospital or outpatient clinic • Community health center receiving support under Section 330 of the PHS Act • Community-based • Tribal (governments, organizations) with or without federal recognition.

Who can apply: The following domestic entities are eligible applicants: • Schools of Allopathic Medicine • Schools of Osteopathic Medicine • Schools of Nursing • Schools of Allied Health • Schools of Pharmacy • Schools of Dentistry • Schools of Public Health • Schools of Optometry • Schools of Chiropractic • Schools of Veterinary Medicine • Schools of Podiatric Medicine • Physician Assistant Education Programs The following accredited graduate programs are also eligible applicants: • Health Administration • Behavioral Health and Mental Health Practice including: o Clinical Psychology o Clinical Social Work o Professional Counseling o Marriage and Family Therapy • Additional eligible applicants include: o a health care facility o a program leading to certification as a certified nurse assistant, o a partnership of a school of nursing and health care facility, or o a partnership of a program leading to certification as a certified nurse assistant, and a health care facility. Community-based organizations, Tribes, and Tribal organizations may apply if otherwise eligible. All eligible applicants must be accredited. In Attachment 7 the applicant organization must provide: • a statement that they hold continuing accreditation from the relevant accrediting body and are not under probation, and • the dates of initial accreditation and next accrediting body review. The full letter of accreditation is not required. If a partner institution holds the accreditation for the training program, a letter of agreement should be provided as well.

Who can apply: You can apply if your organization is in the United States and is a state or political subdivision; a consortium of two or more states or political subdivision of states; a territory; a health facility or program operated by or pursuant to a contract with or grant from the Indian Health Services; or any other entity with appropriate expertise in NBS as determined by the Secretary, including a faith-based organization, tribe, or tribal organization. Per 42 U.S.C. § 201, the term “state” includes, in addition to the several states, only the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands (Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Republic of Palau).

Who can apply: You can apply if your organization is in the United States, the District of Columbia or in one of the US territories, and is: • A domestic accredited school of nursing with advanced education nursing programs • Any school(s) of nursing affiliated with this application must be accredited at the time of application – and for the duration of the award – by a recognized body or bodies, or a state agency, approved by the Secretary of Education for nurse education accreditation. Applicants must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs. A domestic community-based organization, tribe or tribal organization, if otherwise eligible • Individuals are not eligible applicants

Who can apply: Eligible entities are domestic public or private nonprofit, or for-profit entities. These organizations may include, but are not limited to: 1) rural hospitals; 2) rural community-based ambulatory patient care centers, including Rural Health Clinics; 3) Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments), or health centers operated by a tribal government or tribal organization; 4) graduate medical education consortiums, including institutions of higher education, such as, schools of allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine or Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Who can apply: You can apply if your organization is in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau and is: • Public or nonprofit private entity • School or academic health science center • Institutions of higher education • Community-based organization • Tribal (governments, organizations)

Who can apply: You can apply if your organization is in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau, and represents one or more of the following entity types: • Public or private, non-profit or for-profit • Community-based, • Tribal governments (governments, organizations) • The applicant organization may be located in a rural or urban area, but must have demonstrated experience serving, or the capacity to serve, rural underserved populations, as communicated in the applicant organization’s Project Abstract section of the application, describing in detail the applicant organization’s experience and/or capacity to serve rural populations.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include entities eligible for funding under RWHAP Parts A, B, C and D of Title XXVI of the PHS Act. Public and nonprofit private entities involved in addressing HIV/AIDS related issues at the regional or national level; state and local governments; academic institutions; local health departments; nonprofit hospitals and outpatient clinics; community-based organizations; and Indian Tribes or tribal organizations.

Who can apply: An eligible entity is a current THCGME Program payment recipient that was awarded funding under HRSA-20-011 that: i. Operates an accredited primary care residency program. Specific examples of eligible outpatient settings include, but are not limited to: • Federally qualified health centers, as defined in section 1905(l)(2)(B) of the Social Security Act [42 U.S.C. 1396d(l)(2)(B)]; • Community mental health centers, as defined in section 1861(ff)(3)(B) of the Social Security Act [42 U.S.C. 1395x(ff)(3)(B)]; • Rural health clinics, as defined in section 1861(aa)(2) of the Social Security Act [42 U.S.C. 1395x(aa)(2)]; • Health centers operated by the Indian Health service, an Indian tribe or tribal organization, or an urban Indian organization (as defined in section 4 of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act [25 U.S.C. 1603]); and • A community-based entity receiving funds under Title X of the PHS Act. The list of entities above is not exhaustive but does reflect the intent of the program to provide training in settings such as those served by the institutions listed.
