Who can apply: Eligible entities are programs of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry in public or private nonprofit dental or dental hygiene schools, or approved residency or advanced education programs in the practice of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry. You must submit accreditation documentation for the relevant training program in Attachment 5, as identified in Section IV.2.v of this NOFO. Current recipients of awards under the 2017 Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (HRSA-17-115) and the 2018 Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (HRSA-18-120) are not eligible to apply for this NOFO. Entities outside the United States and its territories are not eligible to apply for this NOFO.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants are accredited schools of nursing with advanced education nursing programs. Any school(s) of nursing affiliated with this application must be accredited at the time of application – and for the duration of the award – by a recognized body or bodies, or a State agency, approved by the Secretary of Education for nurse education accreditation. Applicants must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs. Eligible applicants must be located in the United States, Guam, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau. Tribes and Tribal organizations may apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible under this NOFO.

Who can apply: There are two categories of children’s hospitals that may be eligible for CHGME payments in FY 2021, depending on the funding appropriated to the program – “Currently Eligible Hospitals” and “Newly Qualified Hospitals”. Hospitals that are applying for the first time for the CHGME Payment Program may be hospitals that are new to the CHGME Payment Program but qualify under the “Currently Eligible Hospitals” requirements or eligible as a “Newly Qualified Hospital”. a. Currently Eligible Hospitals: Includes freestanding children’s hospitals that meet the original eligibility requirements for CHGME payments that were established prior to 5 the Children’s Hospital GME Support Reauthorization Act of 2013. These freestanding children’s hospitals must meet the following criteria: 1) Have a Medicare payment agreement; 2) Are excluded from the Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) pursuant to section 1886(d)(1)(B)(iii)5 of the Social Security Act (SSA) and its accompanying regulations; and 3) Participate in an approved GME residency training program as defined in section 1886(h)(5)(A) of the SSA. b. Newly Qualified Hospitals: As per the Children’s Hospital GME Support Reauthorization Act of 2013, a freestanding hospital may be eligible for CHGME payments depending on the level of funding appropriated to the program if it meets the following criteria: 1) Has a Medicare payment agreement; 2) Is excluded from Medicare IPPS pursuant to section 1886(d)(1)(B) of the SSA and its accompanying regulations; 3) Its inpatients are predominantly individuals under 18 years of age; 4) Has an approved medical residency training program as defined in section 1886(h)(5)(A) of the SSA; and 5) Is not otherwise qualified to receive payments as a Currently Eligible Hospital as defined under this section or section 1886(h) of the SSA. For those freestanding children’s hospitals that met the above requirements for Newly Qualified Hospitals as of April 7, 2014, and the Secretary had not previously determined an average number of FTE residents under section 1886(h)(4) of the SSA, the Secretary may establish such number of FTE residents for the purposes of calculating CHGME Payment Program payments. Any public or private nonprofit and for-profit children's teaching hospital with an accredited residency training program (as defined below), that meets all of the above requirements for either category of eligibility may apply, though final eligibility for receiving fu

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include public and non-profit private entities, including health departments, state and local governments, community health centers, hospitals, medical centers, colleges and universities, faith-based and community-based organizations, and Tribes and tribal organizations.

Who can apply: In accordance with Sections 831(g) and 831A(f) of the PHS Act, eligible applicants include accredited schools of nursing, health care facilities, or a partnership of such a school and facility. Schools of nursing affiliated with the proposed project must be accredited public or private schools. Applicants must provide documentation of current accreditation by a recognized body or bodies or by a state agency approved for such purpose by the U.S. Department of Education as Attachment 5. In addition to the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau may apply. Tribes and Tribal organizations may apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible. Foreign entities are not eligible for this HRSA award.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include entities eligible for funding under RWHAP Parts A, B, C and D of Title XXVI of the Public Health Service Act as amended by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009. Public and nonprofit private entities involved in addressing HIV/AIDS related issues at the regional or national level; state and local governments; academic institutions; local health departments; nonprofit hospitals and outpatient clinics; faith-based and community-based organizations; and Indian Tribes or tribal organizations with or without federal recognition.

Who can apply: Eligible entities include entities that have programs in dental schools, or approved residency or advanced education programs in the practice of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry, which may include dental schools, or public or private not-for-profit hospitals. Public or private non-profit hospitals or other public or private non-profit entities, including faith-based and community-based organizations, as well as Tribes and Tribal organizations, are eligible to apply for these funds as long as they can carry out such grants and are otherwise eligible. All training activities must be conducted within a postdoctoral training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Applicants can propose to develop an accredited program however, either the applicant or a partner organization responsible for the training should be an accredited program in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental public health by July 1, 2021. HRSA will check the CODA website for accreditation confirmation. Accreditation must be maintained continuously throughout the grant period. For programs applying for a planning year, initial accreditation must be received at or before, July 1, 2021, and maintained for the remainder of the project period.

For continuation (renewal) applicants, your institution’s default rate status will be considered in determining future NFLP award decisions. Continuation applicants that are above the default rate threshold (greater than five (5) percent) will be deemed ineligible for future funding or be subject to additional penalties, up to and including, award termination. Continuation (renewal) applicants must draw down and loan previously awarded funds, and may be deemed ineligible for future funding for failure to draw down funds and make loans to students.
