Who can apply:

You are eligible if your organization is a domestic public or private nonprofit institution of higher education. 

For the purposes of this NOFO, eligible entities are programs that were funded between 2011 through 2025, under sections 736, 739, or 747 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act.

Who can apply:

You can apply if you are an accredited school of nursing.

Any domestic schools of nursing affiliated with this application must be:

• Accredited at the time of application and for the duration of the award. 
• Accredited by a national or state agency recognized by the Secretary of Education for the purposes of nursing education. 

You must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs. 

Tribes and tribal organizations may be eligible if they own and operate an accredited school of nursing.

Who can apply:

Eligible organizations include accredited schools of nursing, nursing centers, academic health centers, and domestic public or private non-profit entities entities, such as state and local departments of health, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations. 

Who can apply:

Eligible entities include accredited schools of dentistry, public or nonprofit private hospitals, or public or private nonprofit entities which the Secretary has determined is capable of carrying out such grant or contract.  Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations are also eligible to apply, if otherwise eligible.

Who can apply:

You can apply if you are: Aa Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited program of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry in a public or private, nonprofit dental or dental hygiene school; or a CODA accredited residency or advanced education program in general, pediatric, or public health dentistry.

You can apply if you are:

A Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited program of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry in a public or private, nonprofit dental or dental hygiene school; orA CODA accredited residency or advanced education program in the practice of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry 

Who can apply:

These types of domestic* organizations may apply. 

• State governments, including the District of Columbia and or Domestic (US) territories 
• Native American tribal governments 
• Native American tribal organizations 

*“Domestic” means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.

Who can apply: Current THCGME Program payment recipients that were awarded funding under HRSA-22-105 and HRSA-22-139, that operate accredited primary care residency programs, or have formed a graduate medical education (GME) consortium that operates an accredited primary care residency program, in one of the following specialties/disciplines: Family Medicine; Internal Medicine; Pediatrics; Internal Medicine-Pediatrics; Obstetrics and Gynecology; Psychiatry; General Dentistry; Pediatric Dentistry, and Geriatrics.

Who can apply: Eligibility for this funding opportunity is limited to POL, as designated in the NHHCIA, as amended (42 USC 11709(a)).

Who can apply: These types of domestic organizations may apply, if otherwise eligible. Domestic means located in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau: • Public institutions of higher education • Private institutions of higher education ? These may include universities, community colleges and technical schools, which must be accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency, as specified by the U.S. Department of Education. • Nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) IRS status • Faith-based and community-based organizations • Hospitals • HRSA-funded health centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) • Rural health clinics • Other community-based clinical settings • State, county, city, township, and special district governments • Native American tribal governments • Native American tribal organizations Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training for Paraprofessionals award recipients with funding that ends on August 31, 2025 can apply as a “Competing Continuation” applicant, so long as there is not a change in scope. Previous BHWET for Paraprofessionals recipients whose funding ended before September 1, 2021 should apply as a “New” applicant. Individuals are not eligible applicants under this NOFO.

Who can apply: You can apply if your organization is an accredited public or nonprofit private hospital, school of medicine or osteopathic medicine, or a public or private nonprofit entity which the Secretary has determined is capable of carrying out such grant or contract, which for this NOFO is an entity that operates an ACGME-accredited primary care residency training program. Types of eligible organizations If otherwise eligible, these types of domestic* organizations may apply. •Public institutions of higher education. •Private nonprofit institutions of higher education. •Nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) IRS status. Individuals are not eligible applicants under this NOFO. “Domestic” means located in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.
