What a grant does
It funds ideas and projects that serve the public. We give grants to educational and community groups. This helps them solve a need in their area.
National HIV Clinical Training for Residents Program
Academic institutions, non-profit organizations including faith-based organizations, and those eligible for funding under Parts A-D of TItle XXVI of the Public Helath Service (PHS) Act as amended by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009.
Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program (PMHCA)
These types of domestic* organizations may apply:
- State, county, city, township, and special district governments, including the District of Columbia, domestic territories, and freely associated states
- Native American tribal governments
- Native American tribal organizations
* “Domestic” means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.
State Offices of Rural Health Program
States with State Offices of Rural Health are eligible to apply. Only one applicant from each state is eligible, based on the designation of the governor.
Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP)
You can apply if you are an accredited school of nursing.
Any domestic schools of nursing affiliated with this application must be:
- Accredited at the time of application and for the duration of the award.
- Accredited by a national or state agency recognized by the Secretary of Education for the purposes of nursing education.
You must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs.
Tribes and tribal organizations may be eligible if they own and operate an accredited school of nursing.
